The Heart of Darkness.In every being there beats a heart, The rauceous rhythm of their cause. In it, is a lonely shining spark, One that searches without pause.The Heart of Darkness.
Creatures of light, they hold it dear, The others interpret it themselves. A myriad of instincts, recurring fear, Resistance rises and now deeper delves.
One of light, one of dark. Both here, In a single room are bound and held. It is no room, which hides there, Where these unspoken thoughts meld.
